Cars: On the peripheral (A10) around Amsterdam take exit S113 (Watergraafsmeer). At the end of the exit you follow the signs to Watergraafsmeer / Science Park. You are now driving on the Middenweg. After about 300 meters you take a right turn. (towards the Jaap Eden hall) Follow this road (Kruislaan), pass under the railroad and cross the intersection. The last entrance gate on your left will lead to to Science Park 140 (The building on your left after passing the entrance gate.)

1. Navigation systems
Using a navigation system? The new street name "Science Park" is not yet implemented in many systems. You can use "Kruislaan 140" instead.

2. Cars
Take exit S113 on the peripheral (A10). Follow the signs to Watergraafsmeer / Science Park. You are now driving on the Middenweg. After about 300 meters you take a right turn. The last entrance gate on your left will lead to to Science Park 140 (the building on your right after passing the entrance gate).

3. Trucks/busses higher than 3,35 m
Take the ring-road Amsterdam (A10) Exit ‘Zeeburg/S114’.
Follow Zuiderzeeweg, Flevoweg, Insulindeweg, Molukkenstraat, Mac Gillavrylaan.

Parking for visitors and suppliers

In 2010, paid parking has been introduced on the side of the Science Park Amsterdam where the datacenter (visiting address: Science Park 121) and the main office buildings of Vancis/SARA are located (Science Park 140).

  • Visitors and suppliers of goods are required to take a ticket upon entering the car park. This ticket is valid during 1 hour. This means that entry and exit are free for a stay of up to 1 hour.
  • Visitors who have been issued with an exit card can raise the barrier by presenting the card at the exit terminal. Exit cards are available at the reception desk.
  • Visitors who have not been issued with an exit card should make the required payment (€ 2,40 per hour) at the pay machines.
  • Suppliers are permitted a stay of up to 1 hour free of charge. If they require longer than 1 hour, they can obtain an exit card at the reception desk.

Parking charges for third parties: € 2.40 per hour. Payment is charged per 5 minutes. (This is the fee charged by Watergraafsmeer local authority). Maximum charge for one day is € 17.20.

4. Public Transport
Train
Railway station Amsterdam Science Park.

Subway/bus
From Amsterdam Central Station or Duivendrecht with the subway to Amsterdam Amstel.
Take bus 40 of 240 (starting point at tramstop).

Tram/bus
From Amsterdam Central Station with tram 9 to Middenweg. At Kruislaan transfer on bus 40.
From Amsterdam Muiderpoort, take bus 40.

Attention!
When using GPS, you need to insert all 5 digits of the street and house number in succession – without space or hyphen, so 22153, otherwise the address will not be recognized.

By car
From Amsterdam: A1 direction Amersfoort. Then A6 to Almere, exit five to Almere Stad.

From Amersfoort, Hilversum: A1 direction Amsterdam. Then A6 to Almere, exit five to Almere Stad.

From Lelystad: A6 direction Almere, exit 5 to Almere Stad.

From Utrecht: A27 direction Hilversum, Almere.
Take exit 36 direction Almere-Stad, Almere Haven, Zeewolde (N305). Turn left at the traffic lights (Waterlandseweg/N305). After ± 8 Km (city limits of Almere-Stad) you are at the Veluwedreef.

From all directions:
Follow the Veluwedreef untill you arrive at the traffic circle directly behind the railway crossover. On the traffic circle take the second exit to the Randstaddreef. After 330 m take the first exit on the next traffic circle (you have arrived at Business Center Randstad 22).
After ± 150 m take the second entry on the right. Vancis Almere is now at your left side. You will see the SARA logo on the building.

By train
Get off the train at Almere Central station. Near the exit of the train station there are several taxis. It takes about 5 minutes to get to SARA Almere by taxi.
