Twin datacenter

No datacenter is as secure as two datacenters. Vancis BV uses both the datacenters of SARA in Amsterdam and Almere. The increasing demand for co-location is demonstrated by the fact that the floor space and the power supply are frequently extended.

The Vancis datacenters are provided with excellent facilities for safety and security. Also, the locations are connected with each other by end-to-end redundant fiber connections. Using DWDM technology, the capacity can be extended almost without limit. This results in optimized outsourcing facilities, since this setup makes it possible to realize fully redundant solutions and store data separately.

Point of presence

A large number of carriers, Telcos and ISPs has created a Point of Presence (PoP) in the Vancis datacenter. This gives them the opportunity to offer services to others without being physically present in Amsterdam (with offices and staff). This example can be of interest for international enterprises en organizations from the Far East, the Middle East and the United States of America.
