Sectorloket Inlichtingenbureau hosted by Vancis

Vancis BV won the European tender for hosting the Sectorloket Application of the Informatiebureau.

The environment consists of a chain-wide test, an acceptance environment and a production environment. The production and acceptance environments are being hosted by the Vancis datacenter in Amsterdam and the chain-wide test environment is hosted by the datacenter of Vancis in Almere. This way there can quickly be switched between the production environment and the chain-wide test environment in case of an emergency.

As the Sectorloket application contains very confidential information, there are strict safety procedures. The Informatiebureau shall therefore comply with the SUWI (Wet structuur uitvoeringsorganisatie werk en inkomen) legislation. Vancis puts up firewalls in the Cisco network to ensure the security and integrity and the protection of the data of the Sectorloket application.

Vancis will continue the technical and operational management to run the operating system (Redhat Linux) and Oracle DBA and BEA Weblogic / Integration servers. The stringent requirements in terms of data backup and data archiving are among the services.

The Information Bureau was founded in 2001 by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment and the Association of Dutch Municipalities. The goal is to help municipalities in implementing a number of time consuming activities including helping municipalities in investigating whether people on welfare are actually entitled to that (compliance audits on welfare).
