PRESS RELEASE - Amsterdam, January 18, 2011 - Vancis has been awarded the "AMS-IX certified data center" certificate from Amsterdam Internet Exchange, for the data center at Science Park Amsterdam.
Vancis BV and SUSA student agency have agreed on a 3-years contract for managing the SUSA’s ICT infrastructure. Until recently, these services were provided by SARA Computing and Networking.
SARA and Clusius College in Alkmaar have extended the contract for management of the fiber-based Wide Area Network (WAN) of the Clusius College with two years.
At the end of 2008, AMS-IX decided to examine all datacenters with AMS-IX connectivity on the basis of objective standards. Recently, the datacenter of SARA/Vancis has been audited.
